Al-Iman School begins again on September 7th, 2025 and ends June 14th 2026.

Offering: Islamic Studies, Quran, Noorani Qaida and Conversational Arabic for children ages 5 to 16 at Levels 1-4

**An assessment will take place on August 24th to determine level placement at 10am at Yaseen Burlingame Center**

Classes run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the four classes

Acceptance is based on a first-come first-served basis.

Al Iman teachers strive to build a strong Islamic foundation for students.The expectation at the end of the school year is that students will have the knowledge and understanding, based on their level, of:

1) Recognition of the Arabic alphabet.

2) Ability to conversate in Arabic.

3) Memorization of specific surahs from Juzza Amma.

4) Understanding the stories behind said surahs.

5) Understanding of the Islamic studies sections to which they were introduced.

Teachers will strive to achieve these goals, but Al-Iman must emphasize the crucial role of parents. Students attend Islamic school only one day a week for four hours. This limited time is not sufficient to fully educate them. Therefore, it is essential for parents to continue educating their children throughout the week. This ongoing effort is necessary to help them gain the knowledge that will make them great Muslims.

Please be on time for pickup at 2 PM.

A late fee of $5 will be applied for every 5 minutes past the designated pickup time.

There will be an additional $50 charge if the 2-hour mandatory volunteering is not fulfilled.
